What a Great Tip

You would think while being a waitress I have received some pretty good tips in exchange for good service. Well, in fact I have. The best tip being Lion king matinee tickets were given to me by an elderly couple that came in and asked to be seated by the window in a booth. I immediately sat them because quite honestly they looked so frail I had no idea how long they could stand there. I got them coffee, each a water and menus. Every time I came to their tables they were holding hands and just staring at each other. It was so sweet I summed it up to the fact they must have been together for so long they can practically read each others minds. They were so kind when they left they complimented me on my service and told me how nice I was. Then told me there was a surprise in the envelope for my tip. Smiling, they walked out and I never saw them again.

Voice over Work

Have you ever been told that you have a great, sexy, interesting or unique voice? Maybe people are always saying that you should be in radio, because you just have “that kind of voice.” Have you ever considered doing voice overs? There is all sorts of work out there for those who have that certain something — that special sound to their voice. Voice over companies hire people with many different types of voices — everything from soft and soothing, to rough and gravely, to downright weird-sounding. Basically, these companies have a “stock” of different voices, and companies come to them, present their needs, and they work together to find the perfect voice for the job. Doing voice over work is a great way to be involved in a very creative and rewarding field. You will have the opportunity to be involved in radio and television commercials, video work, even movie trailers and cartoons. If you think you have the “the voice”, consider looking into this fun and rewarding career.
